Marrakech to Sahara: 6 Days of Unforgettable Landscapes

After breakfast, we begin the guided tour of Marrakech. We will explore the main monuments of the city: the Koutoubia Mosque with its impressive minaret, the Majorelle Gardens, and the Bahia Palace.

We continue through the medina visiting the traditional souks where you can admire local craftsmanship: carpets, spices, Berber jewelry, and leather products. We will also visit the Saadian Tombs and the Ben Youssef Madrasa.

In the afternoon, free time in the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square to enjoy the unique atmosphere with its storytellers, gnawa musicians, and traditional food stalls. Accommodation in Marrakech.

Early departure from Marrakech crossing the spectacular High Atlas through the famous Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass (2,260m), the highest in Morocco. Impressive mountain landscapes and small traditional Berber villages.

We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for appearing in films like "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones". This 11th-century adobe fortress is one of the best-preserved examples of Berber architecture.

We continue to Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa" for its film studios. Afterwards, we will explore the beautiful Valley of Roses, famous for its Damascus rose plantations.

Arrival at the Dades Valley where we will spend the night in a traditional riad surrounded by impressive rock formations known as "monkey fingers".

After breakfast, we explore the spectacular Todra Gorges, an impressive canyon with vertical walls reaching 300 meters high. A very popular spot among climbers offering a unique dramatic landscape.

We continue eastward, passing through small Berber villages and palm oases until we reach the majestic Merzouga dunes, in the heart of the Sahara desert.

At sunset, a unique experience: camel ride for approximately 1 hour to our traditional Berber camp in the middle of the dunes. Unforgettable sunset over the sea of golden sand.

Night in a luxury camp under the Sahara stars with traditional Berber music around the campfire, typical Moroccan dinner and the magical experience of sleeping in the desert.

Early wake-up to enjoy the sunrise in the Sahara desert, one of the most beautiful natural spectacles in the world. After breakfast at the camp, camel ride back to the meeting point with our vehicle.

Journey westward, passing through the village of N'Kob, known for its traditional kasbahs and palm trees. We continue through the historic Draa Valley, the longest valley in Morocco, famous for its extensive palm groves.

We cross the Anti Atlas mountains, a mountain range offering unique landscapes and spectacular panoramic views. A region known for its distinctive geological formations and authentic Berber culture.

Arrival in Ouarzazate where we will spend the night. A city famous for its film studios and gateway to the Sahara desert.

After breakfast in Ouarzazate, time to visit the famous Atlas Studios (optional), where numerous international films and series have been shot.

Possible additional visit to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou to take final photographs of this heritage site and explore its alleyways and panoramic views of the valley at more leisure.

Return journey to Marrakech crossing the majestic High Atlas mountains again via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Stops to admire the mountain landscapes and visit local argan oil cooperatives.

Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon where our unforgettable 6-day adventure through the desert and Atlas oases ends. Transfer to your accommodation in Marrakech or to the airport according to your needs.
